Struik Wieringermeer B.V. specializes in developing and manufacturing new agricultural machinery that meets the needs of today's farmers. The company's history began in 1934, when Hendrik Struik built a forge in Slootdorp and converted it into an agricultural mechanization firm as the Wieringermeer polder became available for farming. Struik introduced its first crumbler in the late 1950s, followed by the element cultivator in the 1960s and the rotary cultivator in the 1970s. 

In 1979, a new ridging system for potato farming was patented, marking a significant milestone.  As demand increased, Struik moved its operations to a modern facility in Wieringerwerf in 1985. In the 1990s, the company's leadership shifted to the third generation, during which time it extended its global presence and created new machinery such as the Struik haulm topping and the VariX Twinrotor cultivator, which is noted for its ridge creation precision.

Struik, which specializes in modular and custom-built machinery, continues to innovate while keeping strong relationships with dealers and farmers to satisfy changing agricultural needs.
