EcoFrio

The Russian company EcoFrio was established in 2010 in order to process potatoes in Russia.

The firm also aims to help the national project of the Russian Federation in the field of recreating the agriculture and "improving the standard of living of local people".

Potato Processing was originally projected to start in 2014, with the production of Frozen French Fries.

However, during the implementation investors changed focus and redesigned the plant to produce potato flakes.

Potato flakes production started in September of 2016, but only lasted for weeks. Production was shut down because of problems with the water treatment facility. The company was ordered to fix the violations, but investors did not have the money to do so.
