Royal Cosun is an agro-industrial group of businesses that process agricultural raw materials into food products and ingredients for the food industry, the foodservice channel and the retail market. Well-known brands are Suiker Unie, Van Gilse and Aviko.

The group's ambition is to extract the maximum value from its raw materials: this is good for the environment and makes economic sense and it meets society's demands for sustainable products and production methods. The Cosun businesses also supply animal feed products, make renewable chemicals to replace oil-based chemicals and produce biogas from residual flows.

Cosun is a cooperative with some 9,500 members/shareholders, more than 3,400 jobs in fte and annual turnover of about €1.9 billion.
