AVEBE Gasselternijveen is one of AVEBE's three starch production plants in the Netherlands.

In Gasselternijveen Avebe processes 1.2 million tons of potato annually into potato starch for food. Avebe also produces Solanic potato protein for food at this location as well as several other auxiliary products such as fibres, Protapec (animal feed) and Protamylasse.

At the end of April, the last potatoes were delivered to Avebe in Gasselternijveen. Extreme drought and warm weather resulted in an exceptional potato campaign.
