ChainCraft, a pioneer in the production of circular chemicals and Royal Avebe, a global leader in potato-based starch and protein innovations, are proud to announce a huge step towards a strategic collaboration by entering into a Heads of Agreement.

Royal Avebe is fully committed to the role it can play with potato protein in the protein transition. The company has discovered that potato protein has unique properties such as foaming, gelling, and emulsifying.

Peter Erik Ywema, director of Sustainability, will leave Royal Avebe on 1 October 2024. This has been mutually agreed by Ywema and the board of directors.

This week, the first potatoes will arrive for Royal Avebe's potato campaign. The potatoes from Avebe's farmer members will be processed into potato starch and potato protein.

Royal Avebe has achieved another gold EcoVadis score. This recognition places Avebe among the top 5% of assessed companies in the industry sector.

Potato Starch manufacturer Royal Avebe closes financial year 2022/2023 with a performance price of EUR 133.34 (USD 145.62) .

Last weekend Royal Avebe processed the last potatoes of the 2020/2021 campaign at the production site in Gasselternijveen. The campaign went according to plan and Avebe is satisfied with the quantity and quality of starch potatoes delivered.

In honour of Avebe’s centenary in 2019, His Majesty King Willem-Alexander granted the company the Royal Warrant.

Dutch Potato Starch cooperative Royal Avebe today publishes its integrated annual report 2019/2020.

For the first time, Avebe has combined its annual financial report with a detailed report on its strategy and sustainability policy. The result is an integrated annual report that sets a new standard in the potato starch sector.

In financial year 2018/2019, which ended on 31 July 2019, Avebe achieved a performance price of 96.63 euros. In the previous financial year it was 85.81 euros.

Dutch Potato Starch cooperative Avebe can now call itself 'Royal'. In honour of its 100 years anniversary on November 11, the Dutch King, His Majesty King Willem-Alexander awarded Avebe the Royal Warrant.

A large delegation from the European Parliament paid a visit to Avebe's high-tech vegetable protein plant in Gasselternijveen.
