Event Description

The International Potato Technology Expo, also known as Charlottetown, PEI has been the biennial international event for over 20 years and has proven to be a highly successful convention that centers around all facets of the potato industry be it from seed, to soil, to growing, to harvesting – and everything in between.

The International Potato Technology Expo will now return in February, 2026! This biennial event, with over two decades of proven success, presents a unique opportunity to feature your products in the ideal setting.

Thousands of professionals from across North America made the trip to Charlottetown’s Eastlink Centre for 2024 edition, return of the International Potato Technology Expo. The facility was full of eager industry growers, packagers, and processors who wanted to take advantage of this biennial event, February 22-23.

In total, 3114 visitors walked the show floor to check out diverse exhibits from local, regional, national, and international companies. Exhibitors at the show debuted cutting-edge and innovative products including new potato varieties, the latest models of equipment, innovative growing technology, packaging and processing automation, crop control and more.

The show featured a two-day conference, where potato experts gathered both mornings of the show to discuss market trends, current research, and updates within the agriculture economy. Thursday’s Conference was proudly presented by the United Potato Growers of Canada and the Friday conference was proudly presented by the PEI Potato Board and the Prince Edward Island Department of Agriculture and Land.
