SNAXPO18, a leading trade show dedicated to the international snack industry, will take place March 12–14, 2018 in Atlanta, GA in a new updated format.

In 2018 SNAXPO, now entering its 81st (!!!) year, has evolved into a two-day event in order to meet the needs of the snack industry.

The new show format will feature a dynamic exhibit floor, engaging expert-led education sessions and peer-to-peer networking events, all designed to keep attendees ahead of industry trends in a condensed period.

Elizabeth Avery, President & CEO, SNAC International:

"After listening to the wishes of the industry, we have reimagined the show format so that no matter where you are in the supply chain, your business will benefit from the many resources and ideas available at SNAXPO18.”

“This show is designed to put you in touch with the people, information and resources you need—to fuel your imagination, spark new ideas, improve production and equip you to answer the demand for tomorrow's hottest snack products.”

“Whether you're on the show floor, in a seminar or meeting informally with colleagues, SNAXPO18 is the best way to gather the timely intelligence and make the important connections that are vital to company growth and competitive success."
SNAXPO18 is expected to bring together more than 150 leading suppliers to showcase the full range of production equipment, ingredients, seasonings, packaging materials, systems, technologies and snacks available for contract manufacturing.

For the first time, Sosland Publishing will host the SNAXPO18 Innovations Hub, which will highlight the newest innovations (introduced since SNAXPO16) in snack manufacturing equipment, packaging design, quality control instruments and more.

Also new this year, Snack Food & Wholesale Bakery's 2018 Snack Producer of the Year award will be announced at SNAXPO. Additionally, Snack Food & Wholesale Bakery will host the 2nd annual Flavor Pavilion to showcase bold and innovative new snack flavors created by SNAXPO's seasoning and flavor suppliers. The Flavor of the Year award will be given to the best-tasting and most creative flavor, as voted by attendees.

The program will kick off the evening of March 12 with an opening party at the College Football Hall of Fame in downtown Atlanta. Guided by this year's theme, "Imagination Meets Innovation," SNAXPO18 will be packed with education sessions, keynotes and provides ample opportunities to discover what's new and to turn the most imaginative snack products into reality.

SNAXPO18's educational agenda will feature deep insights into what is driving growth in an exploding category.

Sally Lyons Wyatt, from IRI, will discuss new and emerging snack trends, and Jared Koerten, from Euromonitor International will provide attendees with a clear view of the state of the global snack industry.

SNAXPO18 will also keep attendees updated on the regulatory landscape, what the future might hold, and the potential impact on companies in the snack industry with a session led by Martin Hahn, SNAC International Legal Counsel and Partner, Hogan Lovells US LLP.

SNAXPO18 will feature two exciting keynotes: best-selling author Dr. Jonah Berger will discuss consumer behavior, sharp marketing messaging and how ideas become contagious, and American hero and Former SEAL Team Six Leader, Rob O'Neill will share lessons on perseverance, leadership and decision-making.
