Herbert Engineering’s latest product improvement can rotate their best selling Vertical Eject Box Tipper within 20 degrees of vertical inversion and thus making it ‘Super High Angle’.

The already highly proven and well trusted box tipper offers reliable tipping but now with an extra tip! Coupled with its high output capacity of 24 cycles per hour, this latest development to the box tipper is proving extremely popular with Herbert customers. To accommodate the ‘Super High Angle’ a full clamp facility has been applied to prevent crop spillage whilst the hydraulic door allows for gentle produce flow.

To comply with Herbert’s stringent health and safety design criteria, it includes the category 4 safety beam system to give the customers confidence for their operators whilst using the equipment. The exclusive holding hopper with its electronic probe sensor controls the gentle delivery of crop to production lines.

According to Andy Hubble, General Sales Manager, major packers in the UK have invested in this technology and are pleased with the results as they already have immense confidence in the highly proven tipper and value the further improvement made to the already efficient tipper.

He states, “Through a continual design process we have developed a superior tipper which tackles the issue of produce becoming trapped within wooden boxes. This additional angle significantly reduces any crop left during the box tipping process and increases efficiency”.
