Tummers USA Inc Reflects on a Successful 2024
Tummers Food Processing Solutions, a global leader in potato processing technology, is headquartered in Hoogerheide, The Netherlands. Renowned for its diverse product range, including potato flake lines, French fry lines, and Freshpack lines, Tummers provides cutting-edge solutions to the potato processing industry worldwide.
As part of its global expansion strategy, Tummers has established offices worldwide. In addition to its existing operations in the UK, India, and China, the company launched a new subsidiary in Boise, Idaho, earlier this year under the name Tummers USA Inc. Officially opened in May, the Tummers US office began as a sales and spare parts hub for North and South America and is poised for significant growth in the coming years.
With its first calendar year nearing completion, Tummers USA Inc. reflects on a highly successful start.
Vice President of Sales at Tummers Food Processing Solutions:
"Market reactions have been overwhelmingly positive. Our American customers appreciate having a local supplier with an inventory of spare parts and a dedicated representative they can contact directly. Beyond the warm welcome in the U.S., the interest we've seen from South America has far exceeded our expectations."
The establishment of this new hub has also strengthened Tummers’ long-standing partnership with Southern Fabrication Works (SFW), which began in the early 2000s. Sharing the same state has eliminated time zone challenges and facilitated more frequent in-person meetings and joint customer visits, enhancing collaboration between the two companies.
Based in Burley, Idaho, SFW is a trusted partner that manufactures the Tummers KW Rocktrap-Washer, an industry standard for industrial potato washing. SFW is also widely recognized for its expertise in potato receiving, washing, and wastewater treatment systems.
Tummers and SFW will showcase their latest innovations at the Potato Expo in Orlando, Florida, on January 9-10. Interested parties are invited to visit their booth to learn more about the advanced potato processing technologies both companies offer.
