When Wise Foods announced it was closing the Moore's potato chip plant in Bristol (VA) back in 2004, workers were supposed to lose their jobs, but then Snack Alliance bought the plant. Ever since, production has increased.

Now, the company is adding an old favorite to its line of snacks. Friday, Food City and Snack Alliance in Bristol, Virginia, announced the return of Terry's Classic Snacks. By next Thursday, you'll be able to find all of your favorites at any Food City store. Snack Alliance says the addition of Terry's Classic Snacks will only improve the plant's current situation.

"The Wise Food Company originally decided to close the plant because it wasn't productive,"Snack Alliance Inc. Chairman Pat Lindenbach said. "They didn't see that the workers in this facility could make this a profitable production plant. Three years later with exactly the same people, this is one of the most productive snack plants in all of America."
