The Serya Alimentos factory in Araxá started production in 2015. Its annual production capacity is 12,000 tons potato specialties.
“This investment allows McCain to focus more efforts on local development of high value-added products and in line with our leadership strategy in the potatoes and appetizers market.”
The source, who asked not be named to openly discuss the company’s plans, said McCain also expects to buy the remaining stake in Forno de Minas within the next five years.
