M S International - a major exporter of potatoes for processing - receives FIEO Export Excellence Award

M S International has received the prestigious FIEO (WR) Export Excellence Award in the Emerging Exporter (MSME) category for the year 2020-2021. The company's heartfelt gratitude goes out to the Federation of Indian Export Organization for recognizing its efforts and bestowing this honor.

Additionally, M S International extends thanks to Shri Ramesh Bais, Hon’ble Governor of Maharashtra, the Minister of Industries, Mr. Uday Samant, along with the FIEO President and other FIEO Office Bearers for presenting this award. It is indeed a privilege and an honor for M S International to receive this recognition. 

Receiving this award fills M S International with immense pride as a small firm that has made its mark in the export market. The journey began humbly in 1960, with a small grocery store on the village outskirts. Over the years, the company diversified into grain trading, fertilizer distribution, and more. In 2012, M S International took a leap into the export market, initially dealing in grains, animal feed, and seeds. The concept of M S International was conceived in 2017, with a focus on exporting chipping grade potatoes. 

M S International's success can be attributed to several key factors. Firstly, the strategic location in the heart of Gujarat's potato growing region provides easy access to high-quality produce. Moreover, with over 60 years of experience working closely with farmers, M S International has built a network of trustworthy suppliers. 

Three pillars uphold M S International's business: the farmers, the team, and the infrastructure. The on-ground presence and long-standing relationships with farmers ensure the procurement of top-notch potatoes. Additionally, the state-of-the-art cold storage facilities, boasting a capacity of 28,000 MT, are equipped with cutting-edge technology for sorting, grading, and packing. These facilities operate with automation to maintain optimal potato quality. The company also maintains additional storage through leasing arrangements. 

At M S International, the leadership comprises young, dynamic board members who drive growth and success. The experienced and well-trained employees thoroughly inspect each potato batch, adhering to strict SOPs for quality, size, packing, and taste.
