Rick brings with him an impressive track record of over 30 years in the industry, having gained invaluable experience at Key Technology, where he excelled in both Engineering and Sales, culminating in his recent role as Sales Engineering Director. His extensive expertise and deep understanding of the field make him an invaluable asset to the Idaho Steel family.
A proud alumnus of Brigham Young University in Provo, UT, Rick holds a bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, which has greatly contributed to his outstanding achievements throughout his career.
Rick, accompanied by his beloved wife, Sue, is delighted to relocate to the Idaho Falls area from Washington State. Their decision to make this move is driven by a desire to be closer to family, as they have three children and four grandchildren, with another grandchild on the way. Family means the world to Rick, and he cherishes spending quality time with family.
Rick's decision to join Idaho Steel was influenced by the company's unwavering focus on customer satisfaction and the strong emphasis placed on the well-being of its employees and their families by the management.

During the next 12 to 18 months, Jon Christensen, outgoing Director, will continue to play a crucial role in the company as he will be added as a member of the Board.
