‘Best Savoury Snack’ Win for Kent Crisps at the Great British Food Awards 2022.

Kent Crisps have won Best Savoury Snack for their Lamb and Rosemary flavour at the Great British Food Awards 2022. Having launched in late 2021, Lamb and Rosemary is the newest addition to the range of Kent Crisps.

Staying true to the brand's signature approach, the Lamb and Rosemary is made using grass-fed Romney Lamb from Kent Shepherd farm, a nod to Kent's quality produce.

With an obvious tie to the Romney Marsh, the pack also features St Thomas Becket Church at Fairfield on the front, photographed by local photographer Darryn Jenner.

The Great British Food Awards is a celebration of the best artisanal British produce and the hard-working people behind the scenes.

This year, the awards were more significant than ever, with a plethora of new categories from dairy and cheese, to drinks and savoury preserves; each product going through vigorous taste testing from a panel of some of Britain's most acclaimed chefs, critics and influencers.

"The first thing I noticed was that the packaging was great - there was loads of information about the heritage of where the lamb came from and the rosemary, and I loved the fact that they’re a local product..."
