De aanvoer van zetmeelaardappelen bij AVEBE zit in haar laatste fase. Inmiddels is bijna 95% van het totale aardappelvolume verwerkt. De verwachte productie aardappelzetmeel is ruim 20% minder dan vorig jaar.
De kwaliteit van de aangevoerde aardappelen is goed. Met de verwerking van aardappelen uit de bewaarschuren is ook de kwaliteit verbeterd.
Het percentage partijen dat in aanmerking komt voor kwaliteitspremie neemt toe.
Het onderwatergewicht (zetmeelgehalte) stijgt tot boven de 470 gram maar blijft hiermee lager dan in de voorgaande campagne.
Het tarrapercentage van de aardappelen uit bewaring ligt momenteel met 6% behoorlijk lager dan het campagne gemiddelde van 7,5%.
