“Integrated Management of Storage Diseases” by Dr. Barry Jacobsen, Professor and Plant Pathologist at Montana State University, will help growers, consultants and others understand the management of various potato diseases that occur during storage. Understanding the pathogens' biology, how they infect and how they can be managed are critical to reducing storage losses. Disease management practices covering pre-harvest, harvest, and post-harvest are discussed.

“Mid to Late Season Irrigation Management,” authored by Dr. Howard Neibling, Professor of Biological and Agricultural Engineering at the University of Idaho, provides suggestions for in-season equipment modification and additional water management options to obtain the highest yield and quality of potatoes in years with less than adequate water.
