Favorable weather in North Dakota and Minnesota allowed producers to make good harvest progress this past week.

USDA-NASS reported that as of Octover 3rd, potatoes were 65 percent dug in North Dakota, and 76 percent dug in Minnesota. In North Dakota the harvest is behind the 5 year average of 72 percent, but well ahead of last year when only 54 percent of the crop was in.
