Odenberg introduces Sentinel Optical Sorter Line
Odenberg, a leader in optical sorting and peeling solutions for the potato sector, has launched its latest optical sorter range, the ‘Sentinel.
The Sentinel is a customer led 'designed for purpose’ machine to sit in a range led by the acclaimed Titan and joining an already highly successful line up.
The new sorter has been specifically designed to meet the needs of a customer where the functionality &power of the Titan is not required. It is the ideal efficiency, quality &cost reduction tool for growers, packers &processors where capacity, gross defect and foreign object sort are critical. In addition to potatoes, target markets are green beans, carrot &tomatoes sorting.
The Sentinel is available in 1000mm / 40” and 1500mm/60” wide in feed belt models, with 7"touch screen, top mounted color &NIR LED vision system, intelligent finger ejection system and of course Odenberg's renowned reliability &low ownership costs. As a potato sorter it can handle up to 50,000kg / 110,000lbs per hour.

The first Sentinel was shipped to the US in July, and is operating to the great satisfaction of the customer, reducing his labour &upping his capacity.
