Azerbaijan is to resume growing of potato of Dutch variety "Mona Lisa".
Shirzad Abdullayev, the executive director of the National Entrepreneurship Support Fund, says that soon the Fund will be presented a relevant investment project for production of Dutch potato varieties.
"Before the end of October Azerbaijan expected to receive 500 tons of seed potatoes “Mona Lisa” which once was raised in the country for a long time and showed high level of productivity,” Abdullayev added.
The Fund intends to continue financing for projects aimed at developing seed breeding in the country.
