This report gives a complete overview of food laws currently in force in the EU-27.
The following sections were updated:
- labeling requirements (allergen labeling, nutrition and health claims),
- packaging (pack sizes),
- pesticides,
- contaminants,
- specific standards (GMOs, novel foods, wine and spirit drinks, organic foods, beef labeling, egg marking, other),
- import procedures European Commission proposals which may have an impact on U.S. exports are also included.
