Emsland Food GmbH emerged from the takeover of the industrial businesses for potato refinement products of Bestfoods Deutschland GmbH and consists of the Cloppenburg, Wittingen and Hagenow plants.
Emsland Food GmbH produces the quality product potato flakes in the Cloppenburg plant and potato granules in the Wittingen plant for the processing food industry.
At the beginning of the 2013/2014 financial year, Emsland-Stärke GmbH became the main shareholder of Mecklenburger Kartoffelveredlung GmbH in Hagenow. The operational business of Mecklenburger Kartoffelveredlung was renamed as Emsland Food, Hagenow plant from 01.07.2013.
With its three plants, Emsland Food GmbH is the market leader in Europe in the production of potato dry products and will continue to expand its position in world markets.
The top quality of the individual products has the highest priority and is the basis for a trusting cooperation with customers and partners. Especially the innovative quality products, which are realized for specially developed applications, are an important milestone.
