PotatoEurope is an international event exclusively dedicated to the entire value chain of potatoes: from Farm to Fork! The event takes place each year in one of the event’s four partner countries: the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and France.

The organisation of the PotatoEurope, which will take place on September 3 and 4, 2025 at the Dutch location of Wageningen University & Research (WUR), Field Crops in Lelystad, can already speak of a flying start.

Due to the current developments in regard to the coronavirus pandemic in the Netherlands and the associated lack of official approval from Dutch authorities to hold the event, PotatoEurope 2021 has been cancelled.

Onder ideale weeromstandigheden zijn op de derde donderdag van april de aardappelen voor
de rooidemonstraties van PotatoEurope gepoot. Met een druk op de startknop stuurde
waarnemend burgemeester van de Noordoostpolder Jan Westmaas de autonome
werktuigdrager Robotti op pad om de eerste aardappel te poten.
