The company's headquarters are located at Prins Hendrikplein 20, 9641 GK Veendam, Netherlands, with a sales office in Visbek, Germany, known as Averis Saatzucht GmbH.Averis specializes in developing starch potato varieties and supports producers in all starch potato production zones of the Netherlands and Germany. 

The company's breeding and research operations are carried out on various test fields in these countries, with assistance from modern facilities in Valthermond.Averis' product portfolio offers a diverse range of starch potato cultivars designed for various growing circumstances, with the goal of improving potato agriculture sustainability and efficiency.

In line with its commitment to innovation, Averis is implementing a new strategy called Route 2030, focusing on breeding new starch potato varieties with improved characteristics. The company has also entered into a collaboration with Solynta to develop hybrid breeding techniques, aiming to accelerate genetic progress and develop varieties with essential traits such as increased yield and disease resistance.
