Event expert Alexander Stein takes over management of FRUIT LOGISTICA

FRUIT LOGISTICA, the world's leading trade fair for the global fresh fruit and vegetable business, will take place from 5 to 7 February 2025 in Berlin. This annual event brings together over 2,600 exhibitors from more than 90 countries across 26 exhibition halls, providing a platform for networking, innovation, and business opportunities.

The trade fair covers the entire value chain of the fresh produce sector, from seed development to point-of-sale, and serves as an essential hub for industry professionals looking to expand their market reach and stay ahead of emerging trends. 

As FRUIT LOGISTICA continues to grow and adapt to industry needs, its leadership is also evolving. On 1 February 2025, Alexander Stein (51) will become the project manager of FRUIT LOGISTICA. He takes over from Kai Mangelberger (45), who has been in charge of the leading trade fair for the global fruit trade since 2021. Mangelberger now heads the recently created Mobility Division. 

Alexander Stein has more than 20 years of experience in organising international trade fairs and events. Most recently, he was in charge of event management at the ZBI Group (part of Union Investment). Before that, he held a senior management post at NürnbergMesse. As deputy project manager of the world's leading trade fair BioFach and later as head of the Building & Construction department, he gained extensive expertise in the strategic, conceptual, and sales development of B2B events. He also has wide-ranging experience in digital and hybrid events.
