Processing and packaging specialist tna has announced that it will open a dedicated tna innovations hall for the entire duration of the Interpack fair to accommodate its ever-growing portfolio of turnkey food processing and packaging solutions.

The company’s immense growth over the past few years means that it now offers more products than ever before, including processing, cooling, coating, distribution, seasoning, weighing, bagging, inserting and labelling, metal detection, verification, controls and, for the first time, end-of-line solutions.

As a result, visitors to Interpack will be able to experience tna’s complete range as part of its VR and AR showcase on stand B22 in hall 15, see the latest confectionery designs at the company’s NID booth D29 in hall 3 and experience tna’s most innovative equipment first hand at a dedicated space only a few minutes away from the show’s grounds.

Divided into six separate solution areas, the tna innovations hall will host some of the most advanced food processing and packaging technology for the snacks, processing, nuts and legumes and fresh and frozen industries, including the tna ropac® 5, the company’s new ultra-high speed case packer for flexible bags. In addition, tna will also be highlighting its comprehensive controls and training capabilities to demonstrate the benefits of its fully integrated turnkey offering and 360 customer care programme.

Alf Taylor, CEO and co-founder of tna:

“We’ve been visiting interpack for the last 30 years now.”

“However, our rapid growth from packaging pioneer to a complete solutions provider that offers equipment for the entire food production line means we’ve simply outgrown the stand space available to us.”

“Setting up our own tna innovations hall was therefore the ideal solution. That way, anyone visiting the show will get the unique chance to get up close and personal with some of our most exciting equipment designs and product experts.”

“We’ve managed to secure an amazing space right at Düsseldorf Airport, only a few minutes away from the show and encourage everyone to come and explore the different areas, see our equipment in action, and get a full grasp of the complete breadth of solutions we provide to the food industry.”

In the snacks area, tna will be demonstrating its capabilities as the only single source supplier of start-to-finish solutions for the snack industry. A highlight in this section will be the world’s fastest case packer for flexible bags, the new tna ropac 5.

Part of tna’s recently released performance 5.0 approach to high-speed production, the tna ropac 5 will form the final element of a fully integrated packaging system, complete with conveyor, bagger, multi-head scale, metal detector and automated film splicing technology.

The display will also include tna’s precise spraying and highly flexible seasoning systems for both on-machine and main-line applications, versatile distribution and high-speed packaging solutions, including a twin configuration of its flagship tna robag® vertical from fill and seal (VFFS) system.

From here, visitors will be able to explore the fresh and frozen section and get a closer look at the tna arctic® 3. Fully equipped with dimpled multi-head scale, the tna arctic 3 is the ideal VFFS system for hostile wet and cold processing environments, offering some of the highest levels of sanitation, flexibility and reliability.

Next to this, will be the processing section, where tna will present the high-performance processing equipment from its FOODesign and Florigo brands, including the conti-pro® FF 3 French fry fryer and the FOODesign cryo-jet® 5 ambient air cooling system. With its advanced oil circulation system, the Florigo conti-pro® FF 3 offers processors superior control over the frying process for a consistently fried, high quality product.

For the first time, tna will also be highlighting its capabilities for the nuts and legumes industry. Featuring a display of tna’s new vibratory motion blending system, the tna roflo® VMBS 3, this section will demonstrate how tna’s latest conveying solution with built-in weigher platform is able to cost-effectively combine a range of dry and wet ingredients to ensure a continuous and accurately measured product feed to the packaging system.

As an equipment supplier with complete controls capabilities, tna will also be displaying an integrated communications hub to demonstrate how food manufacturers can remotely monitor their entire production line through some of the most advanced controls technology.

The tna innovations hall will be located at Station Airport in Düsseldorf and tna will offer a regular private shuttle service between interpack and the hall. For more information visit tna at interpack in hall 15, stand B22.

Besides the extensive equipment display in the tna innovations hall, tna will also be presenting its latest solutions for the confectionery industry at the NID booth in Hall 3, stand D29. This will include a display of the latest generation of the NID M3000 mogul and an innovative approach to gummy polishing.
