Representatives from the Danish ministries visiting KMC
September 17, 2012
The Danish Agriculture and Food Council had on September 10 invited a large number of directors and senior officials from the Danish ministries to visit some of the leading companies within the agricultural and food industries.

The purpose of these visits was to establish hands-on knowledge of the leading industries in the sector and the innovations that have brought Danish agriculture and food quality to a top position in the global markets.

As a representative of innovation in food technology KMC was chosen as one of the companies visited and during the visit KMC had the opportunity to elaborate on KMC's development from a supplier of rather simple native starch products to today's sophisticated functional ingredients.

Also tomorrow’s challenges in the food industry - and especially in the starch industry were discussed.

The visit was concluded with the visit to the native starch factory in Brande.
