BEST (Belgian Electronic Sorting Technology) uses the IPA fair in Paris to unveil a series of upgrades and innovations to their optical sorters.
At BEST, innovation means not only creating new concepts, but also doing research to retrofit our existing equipment with the latest and greatest, according to customer feedback and needs. The company has a big focus on quality and reliability and is constantly striving to develop advanced, innovative and complete solutions for every sorting challenge imaginable. The investments in R&D are now again showing great results, with the launch of a new version of the GeniusTM, FelixTM and IxusTM sorter.
The Genius Belt Sorter - a sorter with a range of applications in the potato processing industry - has not only seen improvements in the design, the optical configuration and available optical camera systems, but also in the software and new opportunities to integrate the sorter in complete line monitoring.
BEST also launched shape recognition for its Helius free fall sorter at IPA.
You can find BEST at the IPA in Hall 7, booth number C24.
