Potato Starch Manufacturer China Essence says potato protein and potato fiber production expansion on schedule

China Essence Group announces that the plan to commence large-scale production of potato protein and potato fibre in FY2010 has been progressing well based on an internal pre-established timeline. The Company currently has in place production facilities for both potato protein and potato fibre in Sui Ling, Heilongjiang, with ready capacity of 8,000 t.p.a. (“tonnes per annum”) and 80,000 t.p.a.respectively. 

>China essence remains committed to its previously announced capacity expansion programme to double the production capacity of potato protein and potato fibre to 16,000 t.p.a. and 160,000 t.p.a. respectively. At this point, work has commenced on installing the necessary infrastructure and equipment for the production of both potato protein and fibre in existing potato starch factories in Daqing, Heilongjiang and Ahlihe, Inner Mongolia.
