Malaysia's crude palm oil production rose 2.5 percent to 1.6 MMT in August. Despite an increase in crude palm oil output, stronger palm oil exports resulted in a slight increase in carryout stocks to 1.8 MMT at the end of August.
Weaker overseas demand and increasing stocks contributed to a further drop in Crude Palm Oil prices in September. Palmoil exports rose 5 percent to 1.5 MMT in August but were expected to decline by 13 percent in September.
