Key Technology Launches Blog for Potato Processors
April 24, 2008
Key Technology announces the launch of new industry-specific blogs to provide information and insight of interest to food processors and to encourage the expansion of visionary ideas through collaboration. The blogs will cover news, trends, commentary, first-hand experiences, and lessons learned, digging deep to focus on specific operations within food production processes.

The first Key blog comes from Tim Reardon, Key’s Potato Industry Manager. His blog will focus on topics of interest to potato processors around the world. Intended as a participatory blog, visitors to Tim’s Potato Processing Perspectives, are invited to share their ideas, ask questions, and engage in dialog by posting “comments.” To tune in, go to www.key.net/ and either bookmark the page and visit regularly or subscribe to the RSS feed to stay connected.

In the coming weeks, Key will launch two additional blogs. Teri Johnson, Fresh-Cut Industry Manager, and Bret Larreau, Processed Vegetable and Fruit Industry Manager, will begin blogging, addressing topics of interest to food processors in their respective market segments.

“We wish to use our position as an industry innovator and technology leader to spark thought-provoking and thought-leadership ideas to fuel conversations that will benefit food processors worldwide,” noted John Boutsikaris, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Key. “We hope our weblogs become valuable resources that help our customers improve operations to enhance product quality, increase yields, reduce costs and address environmental issues in today’s business and community settings.”
