Angola Development Bank (BDA) project of credit for peasants in the country will rise the production of potato in the district of Chinguar, 75 kilometres southwest of Kuito city, central Bie province.
Speaking to Angop on Friday, Alfeo Vinevala, one of Chinguar's major potato farmers, said he got Usd 8,000 from BDA, which pushed his productivity from 60 up to more than 1,500 tonnes.
The farmer mentioned the provinces of Luanda, Moxico, Kuando Kubango and Benguela as the main markets for his harvests.
