The western Victorian regional city of Ballarat (population: 88,000) would not be the first city that would spring to mind when considering likely locations for the Australian headquarters of a global company. Yet, as McCain Foods Australia Managing director Steve Yung explains, that location has some real advantages and has not stopped the company developing a strong innovation culture.
