The company was founded in 1965 by Jacques Vanhemens. The company is active in the packaging industry and provide electronic weighers, packaging machines etc.
In 1982 the company form Vanhemens bvba was adopted and Kristine Vanhemens and Johan Vanhemens joined the company as business managers. With the rapid advance of consumer / retail packaging, the machine range was steadily expanded with, among other things, electronic weighers, packaging machines, etc. From the early 1990s, combination / multihead weighers and vertical filling, forming and sealing machines were also added.
