The University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF), is a public research university located in Fairbanks, Alaska, United States. It serves as the flagship campus of the University of Alaska System.
Alaska Agricultural and Forestry Experiment Station, one of UAF's seven research units, has concentrated its research on introducing vegetable cultivars appropriate to Alaska and developing adapted cultivars, including potatoes.
