Company Description

Pinguin is a specialist in vegetables and set itself the objective of offering a broad range of quality 'Vegetable Solutions' to all types of customers. Pinguin acquired the potato processing company Lutosa in 2007 and changed name to PinguinLutosa.

When Lutosa was sold to McCain Foods in 2013, the remaining company changed its name to Greenyard Group.

The company does no longer sell potato products.

McCain Foods picks up PinguinLutosa potato division

Contrary to what many in the Belgian media had suggested, it is McCain Foods picking up the potato division of the Belgian Frozen Food manufacturer PinguinLutosa and not Conagra Foods Lamb Weston.
