Company Description

Lalesse Extrusion engineers, manufactures and services turnkey extrusion plants, specifically for the snack industry. The brand was founded in the 1950s when it began operating as a small metal shop.

Today Lalesse has plants all over the world and helps producers deliver products such as corn-based snacks, extruded snacks and co-extruded snacks. The company is an expert in engineering single-screw extruders for capacities up to 300 kilograms per hour.

Lalesse can also supply the turnkey plant including mixing, extruding, drying and flavouring systems. As standard, Lalesse offers two extruders, the 90D model for capacities of around 100 kilograms per hour and the 200D to double that capacity and present the possibility of making more than one product.

Products Offered

Kuipers - LaLesse Single Screw Extruder Lalesse designs and manufactures single screw extruders of capacities up to approximately 300 kilograms per hour output depending on the product. Several extruders can also be combined to achieve higher capacities. These are short screw, high sheer extruders.

Kuipers - LaLesse Drying System For small capacities, Lalesse offers an infrared drying drum. This is a great, user- friendly option for drying lower outputs for one product. The heat applied, the rotation and the speed of the drum can be controlled to ensure each piece is dried. Alternatively, Lalesse also supplies belt dryers. These use hot air which passes through the product bed and circulates back to the burner.

Kuipers - LaLesse Complete extrusion line Lalesse Extrusion specializes in manufacturing complete extrusion lines for the direct expansion process, producing light puffed snacks, shaped cereals, and expanded semi-products.
