Kachwekano Zonal Agricultural Research and Development Institute (Kachwekano ZARDI) is one of the 9 Zonal Agricultural Research and Development Institutes (ZARDIs) of National Agricultural Research Organization (NARO).

Kachwekano ZARDI’s focuses on the livehoods of the farming communities in South Western Highlands Agro-ecological Zone (SWHAEZ). These highlands are the main area for potato cultivation in Uganda.
