El consorcio INIA de Chile, INIA de Uruguay y Centro Internacional de la Papa (CIP) del Perú busca aumentar la competitividad de los sistemas productivos de papa y trigo, a través de la selección y desarrollo de genotipos con mayor tolerancia a la sequía.
