Himalaya Food International Ltd. formerly know as Himalya International Ltd. Himalya International Ltd is the largest frozen & canned food processing company of India manufacturing of a range of food products, including french fries.

The company provides approximately 1,200 direct jobs and 1,000 more through contract farming in poor counries. Himalaya, which is well-known in the United States for its diverse product line, has two ISO 22000-certified factories in North and West India that specialize in all-natural, vegetarian products.

The company uses chemical-free rapid chilling, freezing, and retorting procedures to preserve nutrients and freshness. Their annual production includes 10,000 tons of mushrooms, 25,000 tons of French fries, 9,000 tons of potato products and appetizers, 5,000 tons of specialty cheese and butter, and 30 million cans.

The company operates two plants, one in Gujarat and the other in Himachal Pardesh.
