Black Gold is a global production, sales and service operation, specializing in potatoes and headquartered in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

A leading supplier of chip potatoes, the company operates production farms in 11 states and is internationally known for its innovative technology in potato production and handling.

In addition to supplying chip, seed, table-stock and sweet potatoes, Black Gold grows peanuts, corn, wheat, soybeans and green beans.

Black Gold Farms has been in operation for over 80 years and is continually growing, adding new locations constantly. Currently, Black Gold has 12 locations in 12 states. Black Gold harvests over 20,000 acres of potatoes each year. The Company is one of the largest suppliers of chipping potatoes for Frito Lay, Snyder's-Lance, Shearer's and many other potato chip manufacturers.
