It was about a year ago that Six L’s Packing Co. Inc., Immokalee, Fla., announced it was entering the spring potato deal. Now the company is ready to launch a new line of fresh Florida potatoes.
According to a news release from the company, Six L’s will offer four packages, 5-pound bags of each red, yellow and white potatoes and 10-pound bags of red. Potatoes also will be offered in bulk 50-pound cartons or bags and 2,000-pound totes. The potato packages will be available February through May and available mostly in Eastern U.S. markets.
