Simplot cuts potato prices in Tasmania

Simplot's Tasmanian processing potato prices have been cut by 11 per cent and contracts reduced by around 30,000 tonnes.

Potato growers and vegetable processor Simplot has announced the outcome of negotiations that have been ongoing since May. The price has fallen from $324 to $288 a tonne.
