Key Technology Appoints Govert van Drunen as Channel Sales Manager

Key Technology announces the appointment of Govert van Drunen to the new position of Channel Sales Manager at Key Technology BV, the company’s European operation. Van Drunen is responsible for growing sales of Key’s automated inspection, specialized conveying, and product preparation systems through sales representatives in Europe, the Middle East, India, and Africa (EMEIA).

“At Key, we are focused on providing customers with a superior experience at every step, and that applies to interactions with our sales reps as well as our direct sales team and others. With Govert in this new role, we are able to provide our sales reps with more support, which enables them to better satisfy their local customers,” noted Tim Lobdell, Managing Director of Key Technology BV. “Govert is a terrific resource for our sales reps and a valuable addition to our sales organization.”

Van Drunen brings 25 years of experience in the food processing industry to his new position and has spent the past 12 years managing international sales of food processing equipment in the potato, vegetable, and fresh-cut produce industries. Most recently, he was Interim Sales Manager at Grisnich. Previously, he was Export Sales Manager for FTNON, Sales Manager for BMA Nederland , and General Manager for BMA China.

“With food processors around the world looking to compete in a global economy by improving their product quality and food safety, Key has a tremendous opportunity to deliver value-added processing solutions to a broader group of international customers,” said van Drunen. “In many countries, a great sales rep is the ideal way to go to market because they have such a strong local presence. We are giving these reps the support they need to do the best job possible.”
