One of McCain Foods signature potato specialties are the McCain smiles. These crispy mashed potato based family oriented potato specialties have traveled with McCain around the globe and can be found in North America, Europe, Asia and beyond.

Now, McCain Foods taken these potato specialties beyond 'Smiles' and offers in Brazil a full range of Emoji's such as a 'heart', 'cat lover' 'thumbs up', 'peace' and 'sad face' - just to name a few.

About Emoji's

According to the Statista website, 70.4% of the people surveyed think they help better express what we think, 64.7% of people believe people will understand them more easily through emojis, and 49.7% of the people believe emojis help them have a more personal connection with someone else.

Thus, it is not surprising that many companies have wanted to use emojis to capture the attention of consumers.

The launch in Brazil is supported by - of course! :) - a social media campaign (includes a microsite with gifs using the Emoji's) and a promotional campaign developed by the Agency Crispin Porter + Boguski Brazil.

The McCain Emoji's will be available in retail in Brasil shortly.

Initially, the McCain Foods Emoji shaped potato specialties are only available at Brazil's Outback restaurants.

But McCain Brasil has promised that the product will be available in supermarkets around the country shortly.
