Kiremko and Tolsma-Grisnich appoint Oscar Salet as new director of their joint China office

Kiremko and Tolsma-Grisnich announce the appointment of Mr Oscar Salet as the new director at their China support office in Beijing, which is run in conjunction by both companies.

The rapid growth in potato production and processing in China results in market maturity and a growing demand for high end solutions. Kiremko and Tolsma-Grisnich are active in the China market for over 20 years and play an important role in the current developments. To respond to local demand and provide solid service to our clients, Kiremko and Tolsma Grisnich have decided to expand their local presence, so they can facilitate long term partnerships. Mr Salet will lead the development of the China office and will work together with support manager Mr Fucheng Li.

Mr Salet previously worked as a director for NAFTC in China, the Dutch association that supports its members from the agriculture and food industry with their business development and promotion in international markets. While at NAFTC, he led the China office through a reorganisation and expansion into new activities. He previously worked as a consultant in Hong Kong and as chief representative at the Netherlands Business Support Office in Wuhan, Central China. He brings with him a thorough knowledge of the market, experience in sourcing, manufacturing and sales in various regions in China and highly developed skills in managing European-Chinese intercultural teams and projects. He studied Industrial Designing Engineering at Delft University of Technology and Chinese Studies at Leiden University and National Taiwan University.
