Company Description

Intersnack Romania is the Romanian subsidiary of the Intersnack Group, a major manufacturer of potato chips and Snacks in Europe, with headquarters in Germany.

Intersnack brands have been active in the Romanian market since 1994. However, four years later, in 1998, the company established a local representative office, and until 2003, the business was expanded by distributing its own brands in the local market.

In 2003, Romania had the first production line for expanded popcorn, and a year later, the first bag of Chio Chips was produced locally.
In Romania, Intersnack offers the Chio, POM-BÄR, Nutline brands . 
Intersnack's portfolio has increased over time through innovation and acquisition of local brands ("Fiesta" in 2006 and "Nutline" in 2010). 

Today, in the Ghimbav (Brașov county) facility, they create a wide variety of salty snacks, including chips, enlarged popcorn, delicacies produced from corn flour and potato or potato paste, and seeds.
