Potato prices on Fiji reduced

The Commerce Commission has reduced the price of Potatoes and Onions effective from last Friday. 

Commission Chief Executive, Bobby Maharaj told FBC News that the Commission reduced the prices of Potatoes and Onions by 13% to 24%. 

“The Commission has revised prices for 5 categories of the products - one of them is Onion and Potatoes – there has been a decrease ranging from 13% to 24% - these price reduction will be different for different suppliers in the sense that there are different people who are importing these onions and potatoes in Fiji and based on individual suppliers costing, the prices have been reduced in the range of 13% to 24%."
