November 10, 2010

Officials at the Grippo's potato chip plant in Cincinnati, Ohio say a fire damaged their factory to the point that they are unable to produce any snacks at this time, and it could be several days before repairs are complete.

The factory on Colerain Avenue caught fire just before 9:30 p.m. Tuesday night. Firefighters were able to bring it under control within about 30 minutes. No one was injured.

The company credits firefighters for minimizing the damage, containing the flames to the fryer area.

Monday, november 15, production was restarted
