Rosenqvists acquires all assets of PPM AB (Potato Processing Machinery AB) in Kristianstad, Sweden

On the 12th of August, 2010, Rosenqvists with office and workshop in Gärds Köpinge, Sweden acquired all assets of Potato Processing Machinery AB ( PPM AB ) including patents, design drawings, historical project information, registered brand name and other assets. We are now in the position to continue to support the global market with extensive experience, process knowledge and after market service.

Rosenqvists has been an established supplier of food processing machinery, since the early 1970’s. We have been the main manufacture to PPM AB for machinery and processing lines sold under its name.

Rosenqvists Food Technologies is today an established supplier of complete processing lines for the potato processing and snack food industries. Many of the employees at Rosenqvists have come from PPM AB.

“The purchase of all assets of PPM AB gives us the historical information to provide aftermarket service with spare parts etc, to the existing global PPM AB customer base” says Jörgen Lindell, Managing Director of Rosenqvists and continues “PPM AB’s long history as a trustworthy supplier combined with new developments and innovations contributed by Rosenqvists Food Technologies will give us a stronger platform to expand our business. We will supply global producers with processing lines built on long experience, the latest techniques and developments and knowhow. Our processing lines, machinery, knowhow and services will, in future, be supplied under the name Rosenqvists Food Technologies“.

PPM AB ( Potato Processing Machinery AB ) was based in Kristianstad, Sweden and has supplied machinery and processing lines for the global potato and snack food industries for more than 40 years. PPM AB is a well known brand for advanced technical solutions combined with the highest level of knowledge about potatoes and the process´ for the final products.

Historically PPM AB ( Potato Processing Machinery AB ) has been owned by established well reputed companies such as Frigoscandia AB and FMC Food Tech and recently by PPM Technologies Inc.
