Genesis Fertilizers aims to support Western Canadian agriculture through a farmer-owned urea production and distribution network. By financing, designing, and constructing a central urea production facility, Genesis Fertilizers provides a stable fertilizer supply directly to farmers, minimizing reliance on external suppliers.
The plant has an annual production capacity of 700,000 MT, with 75% of this urea output allocated directly to farmer investors based on their operational needs, while the remaining 25% is sold on the open market.
The company’s network of SuperCenters, strategically located across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba, offers efficient fertilizer sourcing, storage, blending, and distribution, tailored to meet local demand.
This structure not only helps farmers secure their fertilizer needs but also allows them to benefit from plant profits, helping offset fertilizer costs and supporting sustainable agricultural practices in the region.
